We were able to attend our annual family reunion this year. I haven't been since college...which means 7 years. I always loved going out here. The time of the year has wonderful, cool weather and the colors of the trees are beautiful.
Caleb chillin' with his hands in his pockets.
New hair color and cut for me!!
Old wives tale...
If you cut open a persimmon seed, the inside will tell you what type of winter it will be. This one is the shape of a spoon (or shovel) which means all of you in IN will be shoveling snow this year.

happy fall!

Back home again,
In Indiana...
Well, we are home for the next three weeks. So far the weather is perfect. Cold enough that you want coffee to keep you warm adn not just to wake you up in the morning! I'll try to get some pictures on here soon. But for the time being, we're having fun with family!

Caleb is beginning to get way too mischievious for mom. It seems that if I leave him alone for just one minute, he becomes very quiet.....and into no good!

Yah, for granola bars!

Ooh, these mandarin oranges aren't too bad either.

I keep flipping this switch, but nothing ever happens. I'm getting bored.
Now Wrigley, I will give this to you if you promise to play with me.
What mom? Wrigley puts it in his mouth. (Gross!!)
Look mom, we're sharing.
A billion toys and all I want to play with is this basket.

I guess this is how my day's going to be today.

First, Caleb decides to poop before I feed him breakfast, but stupid me, decides to just feed him and change him afterwards. I pick him up after eating and my hand is instantly gooshy and I see it's all over the highchair. I take him to his room and strip him of his clothes. Wrigley's sniffing around trying to see what that awful smell is, so I'm yelling at him to get away and fighting
Caleb to stay on the changing blanket. I get it all cleaned up, go wash my hands and throw the poopy clothes in the washer. When I come back, this is what I find.

I get him dressed and clean up all of the wasted wipes and venture back into the living room. I'm cleaning the kitchen and checking my e-mail. Caleb's playing in his drawer...or so I thought...when I hear a loud crash. I turn to see him in another cabinet and he's just pulled out an 8" pyrex pan and it's crushed into a million pieces. I need to act fast, but not so fast that I scare him into falling into the glass, but fast enough to get him out of it. So then, I throw him and Wrigley into his room and close the door so I can clean it up. He's doesn't like it and is crying the entire time. I can't find the broom or the dustpan, so I'm scouring the garage.

All of this before 9:30. And I have a dentist appt. this afternoon where I have to get a crown:o(

What a great day!

I wasn't even watching Caleb and Wrigley until I heard Caleb's little giggles.....and then screams! I was trying my hardest not to laugh!

our little soccer player

I bought Caleb a soccer ball today at our church consignment sale. He could care less about it, but Wrigley is bound and determined to put a hole in it.

I love this onesie someone got us way back when. I know it was for Brady, but I can't remember who got it for us....one of the girls in Shawn's squadron, I'm pretty sure. It's still a little big, but we had to try it out.
