(That is some title!!)

We may have not been one of the 1900 guests invited to the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, but that didn't stop us from getting all dressed up to sit in front of the tv. I think Amelia was just too excited to sleep any longer this morning, because she started making noise at 5am!! I was sorry to disappoint her, but I am not one of those moms who gets up at the first little cry.....so I got up at 6:00 and took my shower before getting her up to see the new princess. I know they have been dating for 8 years, but honestly, what was going through her mind when she walked out of her hotel room, drove past millions of people waiting to see her, walked into The Abbey to marry The Queen of England's grandson, walked down the long isle, past thousands of guests, only to get ready to endure a two hour ceremony and a lifetime of duty?? It was enough for me to think about marrying Shawn, my high school sweetheart, in front of 200 guests, planning on moving to a new state, wondering what our normal married life had in store.

I am not one of those frilly, girly, girls, but it's hard not to think what it would be like to be a princess for a day. Wasn't she beautiful?! What I loved, were the HATS!! I loved watching all the beautiful and crazy hats the women were wearing. I love seeing the Kentucky Derby hats each year, but this just blew them all out of the water.

Although they are not our royalty, it is history and one day I will get to tell my kids and grandkids where I was when I watched them get married.

Lucky for us, Amelia had a little something to wear for such a special occassion. Black, strapy shoes, a big hairbow (in lieu of the crazy hat), ruffles and lace, which turned out to be pretty tasty and a "little black dress".

4 Months Old

Today I am 4 months old!!

I weigh 11.4 pounds.

I am 23 1/2 inches long.

I got 2 shots again today and I still don't like them.

I am babbling and cooing and screaming (happy screams) all the time.

I love to be outdoors.

I still hate tummy time, but am getting more and more of it.

I love to play where I can watch Caleb.

When I do get a bottle, I will drink anywhere from 4-6 ounces.

I have been sleeping through the night for the past month (7pm-6:30am).

I am eating every 4 hours now (mom just switched me yesterday).

The doctor said I can start eating solids, so mom bought some cereal for me to try.

I will only have one more doctor appointment in NC, before we head to WA.

I have been going to the nursery at church for the past month and love it.

I can't wait to see what the next month has in store!

Gettin' Big

Can you believe that tomorrow I'll be 4 months old?!!! Where has the time gone?

Tomorrow I'll visit the dr. to see how big I've gotten. Be sure to check back to see my new stats.

Another Lazy Day

Last night was supposed to be our first swim lesson...but I guess swimming in a pool that's enclosed by a metal dome when there's lightning, isn't smart. I built it up all day for Caleb and got him excited to "play" in the water with other kids, so when they cancelled class for the night, he was pretty upset. We'll try again tomorrow night.

Easter Egg Fun

We have a big day planned for tomorrow and figured we'd all be too pooped to color eggs when we got home....so we colored our eggs tonight!

We've got all of our supplies and are ready to go.

Amelia's ready too!

We got these cool little egg tongs, that I thought would help, but Caleb's hands were just a little too small for them.

He realized getting them out with his hands was much easier.

Then dad decided to help him....that's awesome, dad!

We finished painting them alot faster than I thought....and the fun was over:o)

After all that egg painting, it was time for Amelia to get dinner.

Caleb is such a good big brother!
